Yoga came to me during a time in my life when I was in need of a spiritual, physical and mental makeover. Whether I found yoga, or yoga found me, it has been an amazing journey that I could not imagine my life without. Prana (breath), Asana (posture) and Sadhana (prayer and meditation) are centered in my everyday life.
I am a 2001 Southern Methodist University graduate and have been part of the Gaia Flow family for over 3 years. I have a BA in Psychology and in Education. I have been a high school special education teacher for 8 years and find my work very rewarding. I have also been a competitive athlete and physical fitness is an integral part of my life. Yoga takes my physical and mental talents and combines them into a daily routine that flourishes during my practice.
Feeling strong in all the facets of my life, I have found an unbelievable enjoyment in sharing my love of yoga with others, both inside and outside of the studio.
