Yoga is so much more than a workout. Asanas, or poses, alone are just that: poses. However, when you combine breath with asanas, uniting the body and the mind, that is where true yoga begins. I found my practice in 2006, as a means of finding peace and quite in my life in a world that is ever changing. Never did I imagine what a change it would make in me and my life. I have always been active and loved sports: cycling, running and hiking are amongst my favorite past times; however, yoga prevails, I always make it back to my mat. Yoga has taught me many lessons on the mat that transfer to my day-to-day life. I consider myself most blessed to be a part of the Gaia Flow Family.
