My yogic path began quite by chance more than 4 years ago. I was in College and enrolled in a Physical Wellness class. As part of a series of different techniques of exercising and relaxing, I was introduced to a 30 minute session of yoga. It was quite transformational. I was amazed and overwhelmed with joy, feeling so loved and so humbled to the world.
“Yoga for me is more than just a lifestyle, it is a constant personal challenge of growth and evolution ”
Later that same day at work, as destiny would have it, a customer asked me if I practice yoga!!! I intuitively knew that this was my call to the wonderful yogic path. My customer guided me to Chrystal’s Gaia Flow Yoga practice. Since then, and to this day, I feel blessed to have Chrystal as my inspirational guide, mentor and teacher on this sweet yogic journey.
Because of her powerful guidance, and the innate completeness of the Gaia Flow Yoga practice, in a relatively short period of time, I have a very different level of knowing in all arenas of my life: physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally.
What I enjoy the most about Gaia Flow Yoga is the invitation to practice the weekly spiritual Sadhana (spiritual homework). Based on ancient yogic text and modern day wisdom the practice of a spiritual Sadhana is a constant reminder to move from a fluid place of love, compassion, and true intention–both on and off my yoga mat. All of the proceeding together with the challenging physical aspect of a Gaia Flow Yoga practice has resulted in a beautiful balance of strength and serenity in my life.
Yoga for me is more than just a lifestyle, it is a constant challenge of growth and evolution both as an individual and as a intrinsic part of the whole of humanity.
I am honored and grateful to be part of this wonderful yogic family at Gaia Flow Yoga. It is my truest intention to share with my students the powerful life lessons, personal empowerment, growth, and cultivated knowledge that I have personally gained, and that is offered by this comprehensive approach of mind, body and spirit in Gaia Flow Yoga.
Love and compassion
