When I took my first yoga class at 18, I realized for the first time that I could work with my body rather than against it. I realized that my safe place didn’t have to be a bed or a couch or a particular person’s home—it could be right there inside me! I was forever changed.

My daily yoga practice helps me cultivate this inner safe space so that I can extend my love, strength, and protection to the many people in my life that need it. To me, people are everything. Relationships are everything. But we cannot serve, love, or uplift others unless we have taken care of ourselves first. Yoga gives us permission to do just that.

I graduated in 2018 from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor’s of Arts in English and a minor in Rhetoric and Writing. I have a heart for mothers and look forward to using the healing powers of yoga to empower women in their journey of motherhood. I am a freelance copywriter and recent graduate of Gaia Flow Yoga’s 200 hr RYT training.

I am so honored to teach at Gaia Flow, where relationships and people are just as important in the studio as they are in my own life. When I look out at my students, I see valuable souls who are worthy of love, compassion, and support. I hope you’ll join me on the mat sometime soon.
