My passion for yoga began in 2008. I practiced years prior but this was the year I knew it would be a part of my life forever. Initially I turned to yoga for fitness and weight loss. Now, I consistently practice for many reasons that in the beginning, I didn’t realize yoga would help me with.
Not only did I lose weight, but it works to control my anxiety and helps quiet my busy mind. The overall body therapy and movement keeps me strong and limber. It’s the one activity that can kick my butt, release all my stress and give me a feel good high all in the same practice. I have found consistency and patience are necessary to keep progressing in practice. With that being said, strength, flexibility and better peace of mind surely follow.
Having a fun, loving approach to yoga keeps me dedicated to my mat. I love trying different styles, attending workshops and knowing how to accommodate all ages and body types. Yoga can be customized for anyone, no matter where you are in life, and it WILL change your life. It has for me and I’m here to share my love of yoga with you. I hope to see your life change on the mat too.
