Gaia Flow Instructor - Laura RaineyMy introduction to Gaia Flow Yoga almost did not happen. New to Dallas, only by accident, I found the Gaia Flow Yoga (GFY).   At first, I was intimidated by the powerful yogis that I saw swarming in and out – I had zero yoga experience.   I swallowed my fears and gave it a try.  It was a moment that changed my life forever. At the end of my first class – ocean with Chrystal Rae – I found myself crying! My energy and emotions had been shaken up and brought out of me. I felt amazing and I was hooked.
My initial connection with GFY was the physical challenge, but I quickly fell in love with the Love-based philosophy. GFY is so much more than a yoga studio. It is a family and brings love and clarity to everyone. I had more self-realization on my mat than I had my entire life. I learned to live in the present moment and to love my life.
The past 5 years of my yoga journey has been one that I can only define as a blessing and utterly life changing.
Once I brought yoga into my life, I saw it trickle into other areas of my life. I am also an avid runner and yoga has taught me how to make my running more meditative and nurturing. Yoga has also transformed my career, my relationships, and my outlook on each moment.
I decided to go through teacher training in order to deepen my practice and be able to share and give back the love that I received from all my fellow instructors at Gaia Flow Yoga, especially Chrystal Rae and Andres Illera.
I hope to inspire, support and awaken all the sweet yogis that walk through the doors of GFY to the beauty and light that is our life.
See you on the mat!
All my love,
